TPE stands for Thermoplastic Elastomer — a body-safe, non-toxic material free from latex, BPA, and harmful chemicals. It's the same class of material used in medical-grade products, so it's completely safe for direct skin contact. Our TPE is also made from recycled materials, so you're sleeping on something that's better for you and the planet.

No — this is one of the biggest advantages of the honeycomb design. The open-grid structure allows constant airflow through the pillow all night long, actively dissipating body heat rather than trapping it like traditional foam or down pillows do. If you're a hot sleeper, this was built specifically for you.

The TPE honeycomb grid is medium-firm and — unlike down or poly-fill pillows — it is engineered to hold its shape permanently. The interlocking cell structure springs back to its original form every time, so there's no flattening, clumping, or losing support over months of use.

The contoured ergonomic shape supports both. The raised edges cradle side sleepers' necks to keep the spine aligned, while the lower centre section supports back sleepers without pushing the head forward. Stomach sleepers may find it slightly firm, but the majority of sleeping positions are well supported.

Easier than you'd expect. For day-to-day freshness, simply unzip and machine wash the pillowcase as normal. The TPE honeycomb layer itself only needs occasional cleaning — when it does, machine wash it on a cold, gentle cycle. TPE is naturally resistant to mould, dust mites, and bacteria, so it stays hygienic far longer than a standard pillow.

Both are great options — the key difference is size and ergonomic depth. The Wing Pillow Plus is larger, offering a more pronounced contour and greater surface area for deeper support. The Wave Pillow is slightly more compact and suits most sleepers perfectly. If you're a taller or broader person, we'd recommend going with the Wing Pillow Plus.
